Synastry

Synastry is the astrological study and comparison of the birth charts of two people for compatibility, harmony and difference.

The 2 charts can be compared to analyse what relationship the planets of one person have with the other.

Compatibility, or indeed, any potential problems are indicated by the aspects between 2 sets of planets.

Harmony and Relationship

The concept of synastry involves seeing whether two people can grow towards each other, mutually learning, communicating with each other and being as one. In any relationship that is hoped will stand the test of time, there does need to be something which can offer stability across the two charts

Beware - However, if the two charts are too in harmony with each other - and such a thing is certainly possible - there can be tendencies toward complacency. and if a transit should arrive that disrupts the harmony, it may be there is little endurance available to work through the problems that have arisen.
